Shipping policy

DELIVERY 

We aim to process and ship your wine within 2 working days if your order is placed before 10.00 AM, from Monday to Friday (excluding Bank Holidays). Once shipped, it will take up to 48 hours to get to you. If you have a specific delivery requirement, please contact us at info@longdownvineyard.com.

CELLAR DOOR 

Orders can be collected from our cellar door by arrangement. Please email info@longdownvineyard.com to organise.

Orders placed over the weekend, will be shipped the following Monday.

DELIVERY COST 

Deliveries will be charged at a flat rate of £10 for all UK Mainland orders. This excludes the Scottish Highlands (AB, DD, IV, KW, PA, PH) and Islands, Northern Ireland, The Isle of Man, The Isle of Wight, The Scilly Isles and the Channel Islands.

If you live outside of UK Mainland, please email us at info@longdownvineyard.com, to discuss shipping rates and place your order.

Orders placed over £70.00 will not be charged shipping, this will automatically be applied at checkout.

COURIERS 

We ship our parcels through Royal Mail, DHL and APC. We will vary the courier based on the number of bottles in the delivery.

AGE RESTRICTIONS 

In accordance with UK law, it is an offence for any person under the age of 18 to purchase or attempt to purchase alcohol. By placing an order through our website, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age.

Longdown Vineyard reserves the right to verify the age of any customer placing an order and may refuse to fulfil any purchase where satisfactory proof of age is not provided.

If our couriers are in any doubt as to the age of the recipient of an order, they will request some satisfactory form of ID and in the event they are not satisfied, they will be unable to complete delivery of the order. We may disclose purchaser information to third parties if required to do so by law or for the purposes of fraud prevention and regulatory compliance.

PAYMENTS 

We accept the following forms of payment: Visa, Mastercard Google Pay and Apple Pay. All payments must be authorised before orders are processed and dispatched. Payment is taken at the point of order and must be completed in full. We do not currently accept cheques, or bank transfers for online purchases – if you wish to pay by this method, please contact us at info@longdownvineyard.com to make payment arrangements.
